It’s My Space
A good example of personal space is at meal times: positioning glasses, pushing out cutlery and displaying a more overt body language. Diners demark their space, when they feel their territory has been invaded they
will adjust, move items, reclaiming areas and re-establishing the boundaries around them. The same happens in meeting rooms, people position notebooks, phones, diaries, coffee cups, and all the objects serve as a fence to demark territory and their space.
